Our Focus is Changing
We are now running more workshops and reading groups linked to the health benefits of reading. For example, see how we run Reading for Relaxation groups.

As a result, we are considering offering the recommendation service exclusively to people we have worked with on a one to one basis. This has come about largely as a result of the demands on our time, even though we really love making contact with people from all over the world.

However we are interested in your views on this and would welcome your suggestions for how else we could manage the service - particularly if you could suggest how we could give up the day job and devote ourselves to A Good Read!

That "soon to disappear" mentality
Have you ever been in a library and seen the staff removing books from the shelf to throw away? We both have memories of seeing people desperate to get their hands on these books or indeed of being the person who wanted to rescue the book from obscurity. Some great reads have ensued! If you have strong feelings about us removing our recommendation service from the shelf and being available only in a limited way, please get in touch.
